The Universal Sigh.

Queued up with the Radiohead nerdlings at lunch today for this super limited edition newspaper. Don’t ask why. I simply knew I had to. Guess there’s a lesson in brand loyalty to be learnt here.

If you couldn’t make it down to Polyester Records, you can download the digital version from New Zealand’s Rip It Up magazine. Or wait a few years and pay a squillion gazillion dollars on eBay.

Chris.
Also, *sighs of disappointment relief* that I didn’t make it to the photo page.

Any day is a holiday with Miami Horror.

I could’ve spent most of the rest of the afternoon at Movida Terraza, but someone’s gotta do the work blogging around here. Luckily, Miami Horror gave us their new vid. And it’s just as sunny as Melbourneville.

Not so sure I’d get in a car with Dr Zoidberg, but everyone looks like they’re having fun. Thanks KROZM.

Melbones by Sydneysiders.

Have you met Fuji & Steve yet? They’re pretty rad. They sit near us creatives. They are pretty creative. And straight-up pretty.

F&S made the move from the Sydney a few months back and after being taken aback by Melbourne’s awesomeness, decided to share their new social wisdom with everyone. Keep up to date with their assimilation into Melburnian status over at their blog, Melbones. Or recommend a hip, new joint for the pair to conquer.

A fresh start for Realestate.com.au

After recently winning Realestate.com.au as a client, we’re stoked to be releasing our first campaign into the wild. Hats off to Connor and Pepper for this lovely work. Above is the TV / Cinema. Below is a Poster, Lenticular Poster and Digital Outdoor Site.

We hope you like it

Puppy factory awareness day rally!

If you’re in Melbourne this Sunday, join us on the steps of Parliament to advocate tougher laws and regulations on puppy factories. Help us send a strong message to the State’s political leaders that factory farming should not be tolerated.

And if you haven’t yet, head to the Close Puppy Factories site and pledge your support. Become a fan on facebook even. Suggest it to your canine-loving friends. Tell your mum. Your cousin. Your mumma’s cousin.

Parliament House, Melbourne.
12pm, Sunday 19 September.

The thousands save the day/night.

Here’s the sitch: You and your mates have been slaving away, let’s say, making ads. You need some hoity new joint to appease the fussiest vegans while catering for carnivores. They deserve a drink - but it must be prepared by a qualified mixoligist. Then of course, where to once everyone’s on their way to a good night? An exhibition opening might be okay (free booze a must), or do you lead the tribe straight to a dancefloor?

So many questions. So much pressure. What do you do? WHAT. DO. YOU. DO?

Thankfully, the social experts at The Thousands squeezed their so much knowledge into the latest must-have app. Head over to iTunes to download this lifesaver before your crowd turns on you.

The art of Illumination.

I know I harp on about Miami Horror. A lot. But I promise this will be the last time. Nope. That’s a lie. The last time today. Maybe.

When the Melbourne retro-lectro sound samurais’ album appeared in my iTunes the other week, I was super-excited. And not just about the oonce-oonce. The digital version of the liner notes jumped out and attacked my looking globes. Props to the pixel pioneers at Robot-Academy for the eye candy. Follow the Melbourne designers here.
